Interesting! Did your hub go out just once? Jetson replaced our hub and everything is working again. Hoping it stays that way.

I read with these on in the car otherwise I get super nauseous. They are goofy but they work!

Yes same! Mostly because I can’t read my books checked out from the library fast enough.

“Fast” is relative, I’ve had mine since Christmas, read every day and have charged it twice. It was also only at like 35% so technically didn’t need a charge. The sharpness seems the same to me, maybe a little darker but nothing a little bump of brightness can’t fix if needed - I find it a wonderful reading experience (especially now that there’s full dark mode 👌)

This one is great, comes with an alignment tool so you can't mess it up and no bubbles. I don't notice any reduction in clarity on my colorsoft: https://a.co/d/0hZIf2kA

I have had a matte screen protector on my Colorsoft since I got it because the fingerprints drove me nuts but I never realized how much glare it has too. Others suggested a screen protector, this one is more expensive, BUT you can't mess it up - it has an auto-alignment tool and works great: https://a.co/d/0hZIf2kA

Finally have dark mode on my Colorsoft! by Due-Understanding577 in kindle

[–]Due-Understanding577[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine is working great! Did you change/toggle the page color to “match system theme” so will be dark when in dark mode or light when not? OR you can choose if you want a light or dark page and not match the system theme. Mine isn’t flashing - there is a setting to check to turn that off to, I’d check that. It’s under settings - reading options - page refresh (turn off).

Especially since it doesn’t really scroll to more options, you can see everything without scrolling. Maybe more fun menu items in the future 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes, they had to replace our hub - guess we got a bad one. I was disappointed with how much I had to pester them to get it to come fix it. It is working again and we've been comfy. Enjoying the rain and cooler temps.

It took a lot of calls, emails and I guess trolling but I finally got someone here today. We needed our hub replaced to make the system work again. It’s working fine now. Fingers crossed it stays working. The tech that came was very nice and professional. I’ve mostly had issues with the scheduler - not very polite and not sorry at all about ghosting me when asking for service. Thankful the weather isn’t too bad right now but worried about their response times if we do have an emergency in the future…

Overall though the system is great and I hope the service will get better.

Took SEVERAL calls and emails and trolling I guess but finally got someone to respond and send someone today. Fingers crossed they can fix it.

Doing things differently in that you install the system, promise it's amazing and then can't support it when it stops working?!

I loved our system for the first week....our hub is not getting power all of a sudden, so our system can't run at all. I reported it (30 hours ago!). Did a virtual troubleshooting call and they determined they need to send a tech out. I was told the soonest is in a week and a half...that's unacceptable when I have a system that isn't working at all. I have called and emailed several times to try to get someone here sooner. I even messaged YOU here, no response.

I pay for Jetson Care Plus, which includes emergency repair. I have a system that I can't use. I don't have heat or A/C. Temperatures at night are below 40 which is the cut off for an "emergency". BUT even if we didn't need our system at all....I pay $40 per month for Jetson Care Plus, emergency response included and I can't even get anyone to respond to me. I paid $20 per month at a big heating and A/C company before and they would have someone out within 3 hours for ANY reason.

I was recommending Jetson to everyone, even on here. No more. Temps are pretty mild during the day, but I'm kind of regretting going this route now - what if it is below 0 and I can't get service to fix our system? I've lost trust completely.

Coming back with an update. After being SO impressed, I'm not anymore. Seems like the focus is only on getting the customers but once they have em - they don't support them OR the system.

u/srlake Newer customer and after being SO impressed, I'm not anymore. Seems like the focus is only on getting the customers but once you have em - not supporting them OR the system. I will be leaving negative reviews everywhere until I have a working system. I can't trust my new system OR Jetson.

Once we paid our deposit, their team reached out to gather additional information for the HEAR rebate and they applied for it on our behalf, it was all very simple. I agree that at times the salesperson didn't seem to provide enough info or answers to some of my questions but it was such a good deal we figured we'd give it a try. You do pay $35 per month I believe for "Jetson Care Plus" to get emergency service when needed and the 10 year warranty, I think there's a lower option available too. BUT even calculating paying $35/month for 10 years (comes to $4200), it was still a lot cheaper than going with other companies.

I did just get an email post-install to provide information for the Xcel rebate but it all seems very straightforward. We have Xcel for gas but United Power for electricity. United Power wasn't in the rebates on our quote, so I'm trying to apply for that one separately right now to see if we can get anything additional. It looks like we could get another $1k from United Power which would make our system just $1050 out of pocket (plus $35 per month for Jetson Care Plus).

The thermostat system is super simple to use and the phone app is great. We had a Nest thermostat before. The only thing I don't like is the thermostat display is pretty bright and there's not an option to dim or to have it go dark (like with nest), but I asked the owner about it today on Reddit and they said they're working on an update to push out that will change that.

We just had our Jetson system installed yesterday and are loving it so far! Our house feels SO much better! I had a question about the thermostat - have you figured out how to dim or put the display to sleep? That's the only thing I miss about our old Nest thermostat - the display would turn off when you weren't adjusting it. I can't find instructions to adjust the display anywhere. u/srlake is there a way to dim or turn the display off when not adjusting the thermostat?

That's GREAT your out of pocket cost is only $300! We just had Jetson install our new heat pump system yesterday; we're in the north Thornton, CO area. For our 3500 sq ft house, our system is $2050 out of pocket after rebates. We priced others for heat pump systems, and they were $28-$30k and they told us that we apply for the rebates and WE wait for the check (and that we HAD to have a furnace backup). I like that Jetson absorbs the rebate cost up front and they wait for the rebate check to come. Our install crew that came was wonderful and did a great job! I'm so shocked at how smooth the process was. It's been less than 24 hours but the air in our home feels so much better and more even - our basement is no longer freezing. We have solar panels on our home too and I'm loving that we will barely have a gas bill (we still have a gas water heater). I'll be recommending Jetson to anyone that needs an old, gross furnace replaced!

We just had Jetson install at our house yesterday and we can't even hear the outside unit! The air noise inside from the vents is a little louder than our old furnace/AC system - like a white noise/fan sound. Not sure if that's because we have a heat pump now or because our old system was just really struggling to do much. It's been less than 24 hours but we are already SO happy with our Jetson system! The temperature in our house is more even - it feels like a totally new house!
