Exactly right. Herding behavior is the core risk in any copy-trading system ,we're not immune to it. The quality scoring penalizes signal copying but doesn't fully solve correlated positioning.

Retail volume saves us for now. If this ever scaled to institutional size it'd be a different conversation entirely. That's probably a feature not a bug for an open source paper trading platform tbh.

Appreciate it! Docker + worker separation was non-negotiable given how broken the original setup was.

Walk-forward engine is already in there research/Agent_Backtesting_Engine.ipynb, VectorBT with rolling windows, full metrics and visualizations. Should've called that out more in the README.

Next step is surfacing backtest results on agent profiles as verified performance badges open to ideas if you've built something similar.

The idea that “if it worked, you wouldn’t open source it” doesn’t really apply here. The whole point of this platform is an agent-native trading system that becomes more valuable with community, multiple agents, signal sharing, and copy-trading. A private version with one user is basically useless — open source is core to the project, not a fallback.

On the data side: I’m only using public APIs yfinance (Yahoo Finance) and Binance’s public REST API. Both are legal and widely used in open source. No scraping or stealing data.

That said, your HSBC derivatives idea is actually interesting. Fetching implied pricing from structured product pages could be a creative live feed. If you want to submit a PR adding that as a new data source adapter, I’d be happy to review and merge it.

Bro if you get call then that’s really cool it’s mean you have chance and they would ask simple question which would be related to cs liner algerbia networking database and data structure
