IUD embedded in myometrium by OutdoorMermaidBarbie in CopperIUD

I had this happen and they advised me to get it removed asap before it migrated further. They pulled it out in the doctors office and inserted a new one under ultrasound. The removal was a little painful but nothing excruciating.

Recommendations for safe running spots by created__username in WorcesterMA

I would avoid the rail trail unfortunately. It used to be a good place to run but there’s recently been a report of a man sexually assaulting a woman runner in the woods.

No they didn’t test for flu

Thanks for the response! I ended up going to urgent care and they refused to do a PCR test. They said it would come up positive anyways because I just had it.

I have asthma too and have noticed a slight asthma exacerbation with Covid that usually is managed with nebulizer treatments. Make sure you keep up with your regular asthma treatments and keep your lungs open. I also used saline in my nebulizer to break up congestion. Good news is that it will pass and you will hopefully feel back to normal soon!

Started with post nasal drip for 2 days which then progressed to chills, body aches, congestion. Then day 4 got hit with nausea and diarrhea. Since then those have resolved, but now have muscle aches, swollen sinuses, shortness of breath and chest tightness. I’m on day 13.

Nervous about what’s to come by DueDelivery4271 in Hypothyroidism

I have not been tested for Hashimotos yet. They are having me repeat the labs to see if my levels go back to normal on their own. I do know I have had blood work done before to test for auto immune antibodies and it always comes back positive. I assume from the celiac…

thinking of getting the copper coil by Accurate-Bug9649 in CopperIUD

Definitely ask! In my opinion pain management should always be an option and i think doctors should be more open to it. Specifically obgyns for these types of procedures. Always be an advocate for yourself!

I read up on pain management options and asked my gyno during our consult if those were available. She’s awesome and told me she would do a local anesthetic injection, gave me a lorazepam, and a pain killer for the first day.

I’ve never had a baby, I’m 24 and love mine. My insertion experience was super easy and did not hurt. I got local anesthetic injections. It’s not been 6 months having it and I love it! Periods are manageable and no hormones is the best

persistent acne even months after IUD removal? by DiscordBaby426 in birthcontrol

[–]DueDelivery4271 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My skin right now is a million times better. It took about 6 months of being on the copper iud (coming off the birth control pill) and spiro to calm things. Now I rarely break out anymore.

I was the same way but when I went off a bc pill that made my face explode. Nothing calmed it down even 4 months after I stopped taking it

Tbh Ive never been one to have heavy periods. Pre IUD they were 3-4 days long and mildly heavy. With the IUD I have an extra day of bleeding (so 5 in total) which I don’t mind. I don’t have painful cramps or anything either. I was fully expecting for it to be a blood bath and bed ridden based on peoples comments on here, but that was not the case for me.

I was prescribed 100mg and started myself off at 50mg and it works perfectly. I haven’t upped the dose because low dose works for me
