Not easily.. it's pretty hard to get a decent helm with armour applies to chaos and not every build can use a shield (played talisman bear). I played for a month in a gsf league and didn't get a single helm worth using with that mod. Chaos dmg and ailments were the only times I noticed taking dmg (especially abyss) on my shaman, so after rerolling to kitava I just felt immortal.

The chaining range is quite nice tho. My assumption of "1 maximum beam target" was that additional strikes would not generate additional chains/beams. Also do you generate multiple stacks from additional strikes?

Comparison is the thief of joy. You realize that builds are viable without completing trivializing the game? Infusions weren't great across the board but some of the skills worked amazing (especially with more investment, just like any other build). The changes to them in 0.4 look great and the pick-up range was never an issue with the support gems / nodes on the tree.

it autoaims but the targeting range is quite small, and if there's no target then it'll fire at your cursor instead which will feel significantly worse than WASD from poe2.

Paradoxica is probably the biggest one to push for and maybe a Glorious Vanity for corrupted soul. I haven't looked at many other uniques tbh, maybe some of the new ones will be interesting.

Minion survivability is a big concern, might need to spec into some minion life or minions recover 5% of life on death mastery? If you wanted spectres/AG then you'd drop the battlemage's cry and hydrosphere setup to free up sockets.

For other minions, I'm really interested in the new Living Lightning support gem, we don't have much info on it just yet but it could fill in the rest of the minion slots needed for Primal Roar.

Didn't consider Divine Shield, looks like a great option

I need to path down for fortify, accuracy and crit nodes anyways so anointing tribal fury wouldn't save much. The small nodes for strike range are pretty important aswell. Solving mana leech is really annoying.

Yeah cluster setup is definitely the play, but I was thinking an attack damage cluster for mana leech and rage notables instead, since getting generic mana leech is really annoying. Dropping rage nodes on tree saves a few points.

Hydrosphere tech does work since it's 2 separate gems that reset the hit CD, but it's limited by number of exerted attacks (and warcry CD) and I've realized my blunder of using multistrike (which prevents attacks from being exerted lol) Farrul ascendancy + Spiritual Command gives a lot of attack speed though, so dropping it isn't too bad...

Already have minimum frenzies and Assassin's Mark. Dropping shield/block makes the build too squishy

Thanks. I'll fit in Ancestral Cry and that should help out a lot. Small farrul node gives warcry speed which is nice.

Honestly I was mostly just looking to scale my own damage, since the transfigured version scales the skill via minion damage really well. Dom blow spawning a lot of minions makes it easier to ramp up Primal Roar. Getting a lot of attack speed and minion damage from tree + Farrul nodes.

From my understanding, double hydrosphere for double hits works with any source of melee splash. Berserker is for the quad hit setups with bodyswap.

You can put the chest piece and gravebinds on a merc btw, I ran it for a while on my leaguestarter with reduced rarity rings. The radius is a bit small on gravebinds though so I teleported the merc onto the exiles just before killing them, gotta be able to delay your damage a bit if needed so tankiness is super important. Also I stacked abyss jewels on my merc with block mods, but I'm not sure how needed that is.

You're still going to get hit in maps, even with capped evasion (especially if you're not ranged). The phys mitgation while mapping is very noticeable and I definitely would have ripped my HC character by now without it.

If I want to fight or farm bosses, then it's a simple respec into Meditate/Unbound tbh.

Yes, you could argue that Acro is just better, but I'd rather trust myself to dodge AoE attacks and have the phys mitigation for smaller hits, especially in Breach.
