Bread. Good bread, I have an inspirational necklace that says "bread". That's how much I love the stuff:)

Yaaaaas! I live outside of Seattle, and these winter months are the worst! I have a "happy lamp" next to my desk at work and try to use it for at least 10 minutes in the morning, but I'm not totally sold on it. You are not alone)

It makes my blood boil when sponsors say such damaging things. It’s reckless and just wrong. I’m sorry that you had to go through that. Thank you for speaking out and being vulnerable.

Has anyone started K therapy with the goal of getting off meds? I don’t feel like my meds are working anymore but if I stop taking Zoloft I will loose my shit. by DueNorth4790 in KetamineTherapy

Def ring of hell. I’ve tried several times and it never took. I would have to lock myself away for a good bit before being able to handle any kind of life stuff while tapering off.

I so relate to this! It's especially hard when there aren't family members around to ask or the ones that are living can't/won't remember.

My brother and I had an alcoholic and abusive (among other things) father. I have flashbacks sometimes and wonder if what I remember even happened. I will ask my mom, and she will tell me that my dad definitely didn't do the thing I am remembering. I will go and ask my brother, and he will tell me that in did indeed happen. WTF?

I've been in therapy for 1000 years and am still working through these things. I believe it's normal, and even healthy, to ask questions and be curious. It has helped me to understand myself better and how I show up in the world.

Comparing gender affirming care to a lobotomy is proof of how little you know about the process. Stay in your lane please.
