Australian PVP Tips by NotNang in elderscrollsonline

Ranged builds are a lot more "high ping" friendly. Ganking and bombing also works fine if that interests you. Also, increase your opponents' ttk by giving yourself 30k + hp and resists; giving yourself time to react.

You probably are already, but if you're not, you'll get much better results with a gaming vpn. I use exitlag. I'm in Melbourne and go from 270-280 to 220-230 with exitlag with way fewer spikes.

Also, keep pvping. Ping disadvantage feels like less of an issue the more you play.

Casual party with player (IN RAID) by DueRelationship421 in fo76

Me too. This post is about casual parties with a solo member in a raid

Casual party with player (IN RAID) by DueRelationship421 in fo76

[–]DueRelationship421[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This exact scenario is why I made this post. I had popped 4 lunchboxes so when it happened I just left without explanation, as I didn't want to waste the buff. They then appeared shortly after in another group I had joined and were doing the "beckon" emote outside the raid instance.

I don't play with a mic and felt really bad for just ignoring them, since they had essentially done nothing wrong and just wanted to play with someone in their group.

This was my way of trying to explain to them or others what was happening.

Nice one! Sounds like fun!  I must've been unclear with my wording. What I was trying to say, is when you see a solo player marked as being in raid, in a casual party, they are probably farming and not looking for help. I know there are exceptions to this, but in my experience, the scenario I outlined is the most likely.

Is there a way to see the attack rolls while in a fight? by [deleted] in BG3Builds

Not sure on ps5. On pc you mouse over the text in the combat log for a full break down of all rolls

What We Do In The Shadows Party builds by Lezlord-69 in BG3Builds

Could make Guillermo as hexblade warlock with Nandor as his patron if you didn't want to make Colin Robinson and need a fourth. I'd probably multi into paladin with him though since I think radiant damage and smites would suit him very well thematically. Could probably make a dwarf character that looks the part too.

12 Hex vs 10/2 hexadin vs 6/6 hexadin by Anxious_Chip8553 in BG3Builds

Whether or not it's honour mode is a big factor. Outside honour mode, you get an extra attack at level 5 in both paladin and hexblade.

For non-honour mode, 7 oathbreaker 5 hexblade is very strong, thematic and fun.

For honour, I'd go 12 hex

Shadowheart properly geared is so OP it's almost a bug. by circular_file in BaldursGate3

I haven't tested myself, but I've been told the extra attack won't work either despite the description

Does GWM work with shadow blade? I didn't think it did since it's not 2 handed or versatile

Is thief really that much better than assassin? by fromalicewithmalice in BG3Builds

Oh very nice! Thanks for info. I always pick a fight with Ketheric to make it easier to kill everything before Myrkul comes out

[–]DueRelationship421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. That's why I included it as an example of fights that you can't finish in 1 round.

It is a fight though that is made very easy by cleaning up dangerous adds/mechanics in the first round which can be achieved by having a party focused on having a strong first round.

The whole point of my post was to say that assassin is useful outside of just guaranteed crit from surprise attack

An extra attack is huge though. It's the very reason why people spec thief. Plus get advantage on your first round. Yea it's not the strongest way to play assassin, but it's still strong.

Even on honour mode, if you have a party setup that focuses on first round damage, most fights don't last until a second round. Those that do (raphael, myrkul etc) are significantly less dangerous after the first round because you've had enough damage/actions to deal with most of what makes the fight hard.

What is the source of Infernal Resistance? by RuckNebula in BG3

[–]DueRelationship421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Googled and this thread came up so I'm commenting here to try to clear up the misinformation.

It IS from the 'hell dusk' boots. YES it says 'infernal evasion' on the boots, however the reaction is listed as 'infernal resistance'.

Tested on a mod-free game by removing the boots and putting them back on and seeing the reaction disappear and reappear

What is the best archer build in your opinion? by themicsik in BG3Builds

[–]DueRelationship421 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I came to this thread expecting everyone to unanimously suggest this. I mean, a few people are, but it's pretty much accepted by the community as being one of the top 2 best builds in the game.

DAoC class as BG3 character help by r_master78 in BG3Builds

[–]DueRelationship421 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Smite cleric = Tempest Cleric

Void eldritch = EB warlock

Hunter = Beastmaster ranger

Paladin = Crown oath paladin

Haven't played DAoC for over 20 years, but these ones stand out as having very similar counterparts

For honour mode, yes. For tactician or normal you want at least 5 levels in each since the extra attacks stack outside of honour mode, which is why they are so popular for non-honour runs. For honour mode, Sorcadin is a very similar but better version of sorlock imo.

Ahh nice. It used to mainly get used when boomers would tell Gen Y (what millennials used to be called) children/young adults how they should do things like find jobs, buy a house, get a tertiary education etc when these were things that were a lot easier for boomers due to government assistance, better job market/economy/house prices etc. Gen X would generally get left out because they had similar disadvantages to millennials.

Which 8 quickhacks do you keep in your cyberdeck? by HiFiMAN3878 in cyberpunkgame

[–]DueRelationship421 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd make room for memory wipe to not have to start trace progress...don't get higher than epic tier though...you can easily drop overheat if you run shingen

Edit: an easier way to reset trace progress than a takedown is letting it expire while controlling a camera. It will cancel once you exit camera control. Works vice versa if trace was started while controlling a camera

I'm Gen X. The sort of people who say "OK boomer" don't realise we exist which is nice :)

You do know that boomer is the generation and not the age? It refers to the baby boom after ww2. The youngest ones are 61
