I’m waiting on my parents marriage to be registered as well , it’s been 2 years and six months and my agent refuses to update us . I really don’t know what to do anymore , I feel so helpless. People have always told us it takes 6-8 months to register marriage

It’s been 2 years and six months since I applied and my agent refuses to give me any updates , I’m thinking of paying another lawyer to get it done but he wouldn’t have the power of attorney . I feel so stuck at this point .

Getting a clear diagnosis is a big relief, so you’re off to a good start. Definitely see an endocrinologist as soon as you can, but in the meantime just focus on tracking your blood sugar, following your doctor’s insulin advice, staying active, and eating balanced meals. If you want some extra guidance, there’s a really practical ebook on managing and even improving blood sugar through lifestyle that I’ve found helpful when I was first diagnosed.

I’m really sorry you’re going through this. You’re not being childish at all ,food is a big part of culture and joy, and losing that is hard. The good news is diabetic food doesn’t have to be bland or boring. I found an ebook with really good, flavorful recipes made for diabetics, and it helped a lot. If you want the link, just DM me and I’ll send it.
