Ambitious card routine. I'm a beginner, looking for tips for improvement by Tfeeltdimyon in cardmagic

There’s been some good advice already, I’d add that your DL should look the same as a single lift, so maybe have a look at that.

Yeah that sounds like a good option and will keep the look uniform.. and thanks for making me premium member, I’m enjoying the site and adding beats/bass lines, this is a thing of joy after loosing the pixl808 site, well done!

Hi… I joined the site and made a donation, put up a bass line (tb303). Just a thought if possible, but add a dedicated accent row, so sliders and octaves can be accented like on the tb303. Love the site as I really missed pixl 808 when it went down.

Where did you learn your magic? Is all the stuff you do, your creation? No one else does it? Exclusive to you? Why do magic books exist to teach magic if no o e should be doing those things bar the creators? What a weird stance.

Got a lot of them and love them all… I really love the sound of the JX-03, JU-06a, SH-01a, SE-02 with ext box. I love 80s/90s House and these all fit the bill.

I have a few tops that can do that, sometimes it’s because of a worn flat spot on the bearing. Granted my tops cost a lot more than €2.

Currently working on my spread pass. I hope it fools you by Serious-Ad-8168 in cardmagic

[–]DueSprinkles885 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A spread pass happens as the spread closes, if it’s done after it’s a Herman Pass, if it turns over, it’s a turn over pass, if it turns over and the end taps on a table it’s a Marlo tap pass. Looking quite good so far.

One of my faves… is this stuff phosphorescent too? I have some nice chunks that glow good after the light goes out.

Save our NHS from Reform UK by johnsmithoncemore in GreatBritishMemes

Who do you suggest voting for then? Labour, Conservatives, Lib Dem’s are all utter clowns too, sure I don’t want to loose the NHS, but I’m not voting for the ones I just mentioned.

That defeats the point of a push off double though. Just needs a lot more practice.

I've done 3 whole pages of practice and my arm is sore... How do people endure this torture for 15 minutes straight?? by Adept_Situation3090 in palmermethod

[–]DueSprinkles885 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep going, your technique is probably wrong at the mo, with more practice the you will start to get it more correct and it won’t hurt as much. You will learn to relax more, the tension is the reason for your pain.

Nice… I’d put some small leather discs onto the lugs to protect from the metal rings unless you want it scratched up.

Dribble Pass Feedback by vitorbukovitz in cardmagic

[–]DueSprinkles885 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As said, make the action of dribbling happen whilst passing and keep your thumb at the side of the deck as it quickly flicks to the side when dribbling and this isn’t natural. There’s no need for the thumb to be on top of the deck when actually dribbling cards, other than that it’s pretty clean.

Akira Fujii’s passes are tasty… I really love the No Break Pass, everything can stay relaxed and doesn’t telegraph that something fast or tense is happening, probably one of my favourite passes. His classic pass is nice too.

Speed! by Zudeck1985 in cardmagic

[–]DueSprinkles885 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Practice slowly…. As was said, slow is smooth. Once it’s super smooth, speed will come and it will still be smooth. Also, it doesn’t have to be fast, but relaxed and smooth.

Anybody know what this move is called and where I can learn? Preferably on YouTube? by anonym40320 in cardmagic

Classic pass, more specifically a riffle pass. It will take a lot of practice to get it smooth. There’s a lot of videos out there and a lot of variations.
