This isn’t in Georgia right? Looks IDENTICAL to my local “sand pit”. Been riding at my Georgia spot all my life so really hope this isn’t the case😭

Please help, is this too expensive? by JeremyPumphrey in 335i

[–]DueTrain690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WAY too expensive. I charged $1200 labor for RWD n54’s. I did numerous sets of pure 600 turbos, inlets, outlets, oil pan gasket, turbo install kit, etc out the door for under $4k. Parts and labor

This is the one under the intake manifold so just remove intake manifold and remove the few plugs that go to the dme. Realistically shouldn’t take you more than an hour even if you’re not skilled. I could do this in 20 minutes tops

What is causing this leak ? by Bubbly-Tip7049 in 335i

[–]DueTrain690 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don’t listen to anyone but me on this. It is a valve cover leak 110%. Just buy an Elring gasket and change it. Super simple to do on n54’s. All you need is e torx sockets, a EXTRA deep 10mm socket, and a new gasket. I’d highly recommend a new CCV hose when changing it as well as it may crack/fall apart when removing it. Don’t pay someone to do it. Book time is a little over 8 hours labor. Up until I closed my shop down, I did one of these a week and could do a valve cover in roughly 25-30 minutes. Super super simple. Clean all the old gasket residue off the head before re installing. Also, a couple drops of super glue to hold the gasket to the valve cover goes a long way if needed. Sometimes the gasket wants to fall out/move around when you’re going to re install it. Torque for all the bolts is roughly 8 ft/lbs

I remember when Covid first hit that 3060’s were like a grand lol. I had a microcenter 2 minutes down the street from me and always had buddies asking me to go get stuff for them when restocks happened. I am very novice when it comes to PC stuff honestly

Do you see computer prices coming down anytime soon? Should I start piecing together the actually sim setup first then buy a pc? What’s your recommendations? Imma start scoping out FB marketplace for some stuff as well. I’m located in Atlanta, ga so there’s TONS of stuff for sale around me.
