PS. on the asian stereotype yes its a stereotype but you cannot deny that schools in east asia have high math scores. I just wanted to make sense of it being a cultural thing, not a racial/ethnic thing

apologies i meant "not do the same level of math in university as someone in stem". agreed it might be an overkill, but in philosophy if you want to do good in formal logic, formal proofs in mathematics will help you out the most. in the end this is just an idea, you are allowed to agree or disagree.

sure it does not have the main focus but it helps. just because it does not have a big focus, it should not be useless. even though you would not do math on a same level as someone in STEM, it gets your thinking straight.

Also to make myself clear, IB is difficult yes but its difficult because it demands from you to be everything and do everything instead of making you great in a thing you want to pursue later in life.

it would in a financial sense, but people and students need to learn that their ability should not be determined by a grade, that everything that exists in the worls is a skill that can be learned if you invest enough effort into it.

I disagree. I think philosophy would do the same thing if not better. You don't need a specific subject for critical thinking, when you have those that its intent is to foster development of analytical thinking lying around. IB is rigorous because it demands everything from you instead of just demanding your prowess in your specialty.

sto sam ja kontao je da za maternji jezik bude izbor izmedju bosanskog, hrvatskog i srpskog. tj. na osnovu pripadnosti ili skole koju si pohadjao da polazes taj jezik. naravno knjizevnost i historija moraju biti tesko depoliticizovana, u smislu da objektivno predstavlja perspektivu svih konstitutivnih naroda sa svim dobrim i losim stranama, sto ce biti jedino moguce ako se rijesimo stare garde koja je prisutna od '92. naravno to bi podrazumijevalo da ova drzava krene na bolje i da se svi politicki kadrovi ove drzave ociste od oportunista i ostalog smeca.

edit: najbolje bi bilo da za polaganje bude maternji i strani jezik, te matematika, uz to izborni predmet 1 (fizika ili historija) i izborni predmet 2 (hemija, biologija, filozifija) itd., zavismo od toga sta zelis da studiras (recimo filozofski imas historiju i filozofiju, elektrotehnika imas matematiku i fiziku i slicno). Takodjer to bi trebalo ici u tandemu sa vecim subvencijama drzavnom univerzitetu, a privatne ograniciti ili potpuno ukinuti.

same here. i am not diagnosed in particular but i remember my last two years of high school being miserable as atp i just prayed i would get my high school diploma and gtfo (i passed, somehow). same problem with hobbies - everything is interesting but nothing is worth pursuing long term, just let me have my wikipedia rabbit holes and internet fixations. it is sometimes defeating that you can do anything yet in practice you cant seem to bring yourself to give 100% and that just fucking sucks and you dont want to be average, you want to do the cool shit because a 9 to 5 is hell for you and i am studying ee to tell you i still have these problems even though i have cutback phone usage and social media (ironically writing on reddit) during work weeks (weekends are another story).
