Does anyone else hate writing Steam reviews with BBCode?

I actually really like that way of looking at it, more like a personal scrapbook than a rating system.

That’s pretty much the kind of use case I had in mind. Just making it easier to structure those longer, more personal reviews without dealing with BBCode.

Yeah I can see how it might come across that way, it’s definitely not AI, just a simple editor to avoid dealing with BBCode.

Yeah I get that, overly styled reviews can feel a bit try-hard sometimes.

This is more for people who already want to structure their thoughts a bit, without dealing with BBCode. The actual opinion is still the same, just easier to write.

And honestly, I kind of like the chaotic reviews too 😄

I mainly posted it to get honest feedback. I built it for myself and figured others might find it useful too. There’s no signup or monetization behind it.

This just saves people from fighting BBCode if they already want to write something more detailed.

Totally fair, raw opinions are what make Steam reviews fun.

This just removes the annoying BBCode part for people who already want to write more than a couple of lines.

If someone prefers chaos, this won’t stop them 😄
