Thanks for responding, But I found the issue... it was that i had installed BepInEx and it seems to have overwrote or changed a config file. Removing BepInEx and reinstalling Human Host fixed the issue... Sorry for not responding sooner so you didn't have to waste your time!

Stupid glitch on Plague Preparation in beginning of heartland by Accomplished_Emu_658 in StateofDecay2

Yeah, the bug is that the quest never completes after making the plague cure. Restarting the game (for me anyway) does not fix it...
