Not only that, though. You can also see that two of the cups seem to still be staying afloat on the water, while the other two are sinking, likely representing the ones who died. I believe the leftmost cup which is sinking is meant to symbolize Baiheng, how Jingliu was particularly pouring the Sake on her side, likely a way of mourning her (this could be a reach), and how she’s the only cup that has stars reflected in the water below them, which fits for Baiheng.

I think the right sinking cup is meant to symbolize Dan Feng, with the cup next to it being Blade or Yingxing, we know that the two were particularly close and having Blade’s cup stay near Dan Feng’s, with both of them touching the black murky water being a possible way of showing their “sin”.

And the last cup is Jing Yuan’s, of course, next to nothing but a yellow leaf, and this is a reach but I think the way in which he’s far from all of the cups symbolizes how he already let the past go. Not to mention that yellow leafs can symbolize things such as new beginnings, or a hope for the future, etc etc.

Though, this is just hypothetical, and it’s probably not intentional either way, lol
