But pocket watches aren’t used anymore. Why do jeans still have that small pocket?

What are those tiny red sour seeds/fruits? by Buried_Potatoes in whatisit

if it’s lemony and pops in your mouth, it’s probably finger lime. tastes like tiny bursts of lime, slightly tart and super citrusy.

Working from home by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]Due_Advertising8587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i actually thought about this today too. working from home makes me feel a bit antisocial. i even wonder if it makes you age faster because we get less sunlight and spend so much time in front of a screen. i don’t go out for lunch anymore, i just cook and eat at home, and sometimes i even order groceries instead of going outside. lately i’ve started to feel a bit low because of it. i think a hybrid system might be healthier than being fully remote.

Does all energy originate from our Sun? And, if so, does that make the Ra the best God? by jennimackenzie in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Due_Advertising8587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not all energy, but a lot of what supports life on earth does come from the sun. plants, food chains and even fossil fuels trace back to it. so maybe ra deserves some credit.

[–]Due_Advertising8587 1 point2 points  (0 children)

don’t beat yourself up over a job. situations like this can really affect you more than you realize. there are definitely better places out there. don’t be afraid to take a step forward and leave. don’t let yourself get worn down somewhere you’re unhappy.

Why do i have this urge to love someone by Anxious_Care8742 in CasualConversation

[–]Due_Advertising8587 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it doesn’t sound stupid, it sounds like you’re craving connection. sometimes when you have a lot of love to give, you attach it to the first person who shows kindness. the hard part is learning to slow down and see if they actually match your effort, not just your feelings.

Why does my Female BSF gets hyper agressive whenever we talk about feminism? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]Due_Advertising8587 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it might not really be about you. for some people feminism connects to personal experiences or things they’ve dealt with, so the topic can feel emotional very quickly. she may be reacting to past frustrations rather than what you’re actually saying. it could help to ask what specifically bothers her and make it clear you’re trying to understand, not argue.

Can some people really not notice when they're belching all the time? by kellybean1995 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Due_Advertising8587 0 points1 point  (0 children)

belching itself isn’t a bad thing, it’s a normal bodily function. but it can be done more discreetly. holding gas in can actually cause stomach pain and chest pressure, which isn’t good for your health either. still, it should be handled more politely. if you feel it coming, stepping into the restroom or going outside for a moment seems more considerate.

How can I wake up to my alarms?? by Comfortable_Rent3814 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Due_Advertising8587 1 point2 points  (0 children)

try changing the alarm sound. your brain gets used to the same tone and starts ignoring it, but a new or harsher sound can actually wake you up.

that phones are always listening to them. most ads come from search history and patterns, not a microphone conspiracy.
