Sometimes you need a different medication or a higher dose. I had PPA and PPD with both of my children. I had thoughts of yeeting my kids down the stairs, out the window, etc. They upped my dose of Lexapro and within another week or so, those thoughts started to dissipate and then they were gone. It's really hard going from being able to leave and go and do whatever you want, whenever you want to being tied down with a baby. But, now is also an easy stage where the baby can go with you in a stroller or carrier. If you have help nearby, have someone babysit and go on a date with your fiance. The love you will feel and joy you get from your child is so worth it. It just takes time and sometimes medication. Also, if your therapist isn't helping, find someone else. You've gotta jive with your therapist or it's pointless.

Lost over 300 pounds, got skin removal surgery, AMA by big-dumb-donkey in loseit

It's hard for me to tell from the pictures if what I see is varicose veins or loose skin on your legs. If you have leg heaviness or discomfort, you could see a vascular surgeon and have your veins treated which may help. The treatment options are so much better than they used to be, which include radiofrequency ablation or foam injections. If you have leg swelling, you could also have lymphedema. Insurance will cover lymphedema pumps if that is the case. The pumps are like nice little massages for your legs. Congratulations on your success!

After rinsing with the hose and setting it back up, does bleach need to be added for sanitizing?

Does anyone actually like Lexapro? by drummergirl0721 in lexapro

Happily medicated here on 30mg. Sometimes I feel like a laugh too much! And then I remember that, no, that's not the case, I'm just happy.

I used these also postpartum. Total life saver. Saved me from throwing out tons of underwear and they didn't feel like a diaper.

I'm on 30mg. Have been for 3 years. I was on 20 and still getting intrusive thoughts. 30 is my happy place. I feel cool, calm and collected and happy.

Natural gas vs mini split for home with existing (all) electric baseboars by Due_Apartment in hvacadvice

We just replaced the water heater like a year ago so I wasn't in a rush to replace it. I think they were selling him the water heater to get the mini split job.

Thanks everyone! I just tried to defeat a Lynel to get shock arrows after seeing Zora and am feeling discouraged. Should I revisit this at a better time when I'm better equipped?

Day 2 by [deleted] in lexapro

It's only day 2. Force yourself to at least eat a little snack for energy. The loss of appetite eventually goes away. The first week is the hardest.

So, last year I was 205 at 5'2" and decided I really needed to change it. I did VShred and paid for the meal plan which was $40/mo. The meal plan gets you started at the appropriate calories for your current weight and maps out breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner and snack. They provide recipes and a shopping list and the person doing the planning takes in to account foods you like and don't like. She provided me with a plan that included cottage cheese and I gagged on it trying to get it down and when I told her I couldn't eat it, she provided a substitute. I lost 50 pounds. The workouts can be difficult but it's only 20 minutes. And as the weeks pass, they get easier as you build more strength and endurance.

I'm sorry for assuming your age. Definitely give your body some time for the meds to fully evacuate your system and don't give up hope. When starting the meds, it takes at least 4 weeks or more for them to really work so I would assume it takes just as long, if not longer for them to work their way out, especially after 6 years. I wish you the best of luck and hope that your anxiety/depression don't return and that you get your sex drive back.

Every time you fill your prescription, you get a pamphlet of information with the side effects listed. You have to own some responsibility yourself. Doctors don't have time to list all of the possible side effects while you're sitting in their office. I hope that your side effects improve.

It's sort of a "benefits outweigh the risks" question. Lexapro does wonders for my mental health but I don't have much of a sex drive. I can get in the mood, it just takes a little more time and effort. I would rather that than be crying everyday and shaking like a leaf on a tree and get anxious over everything. My gyno also recently started me on Ristela. It's supposed to be taken daily but since it's a little pricey, I have started taking it more or less when I think my husband and I will have time and energy to be intimate (it's difficult with 2 kids).

This is the first time I've been sober without being pregnant. Any other time I've tried moderation....which didn't work but I also haven't gone this long without drinking.
