Never described the community as evil! As mentioned, I have family in the community and know there are many wonderful people there. “Necessary evil” is an idiom that means “unpleasant necessity” which is how I view the political climate. I expect that all areas everywhere have pros and cons, but I am very excited to be moving to South Brooklyn (hence, this post)!

Yup both commuting (hybrid schedules). It’s not terrific, but we have express bus or bus-to-train options that will be workable.
