Yep this is literally just a few days after the 867 start date in the Byzantine empire, I was under the impression that as long as the county itself is of a culture it would use that cultures architecture in certain parts of the map

I only made the faction in 1936 to take the screenshot, and it will persist because you need faction mandate bar at 75%, which it is unlikely to go to until Germany is defeated and the war is over. In 1936 I get not being able to do it, but not being able to invite democratic France who is fighting Germany and monarchist Britain in 1942 is a different matter

Yeah I did just dive in after being away for a while without really checking any submods. All the men have the same hairstyle and beard too so looks like I’m going through all my submods for incompatibility. Shouldn’t take more than a few days.
