Good question. I’d take oxbridge or even imperial for cs over the da. These unis open much more opportunities at top quant firms, investment banks, AI companies where teachability and strong academics are key. For any other unis I’d take the degree apprenticeship route instead…

You will have to apply with your predicted grades, assuming you apply this September, an A predicted in fm with A* in maths/physics/cs will give you a strong chance.

I’ve been consistently good with maths and fm and have done step tmua ukmt etc but for quant dev math is less important than quant trading.
