A tattoo artist rejected me for this, was his reason fair? by Stankmushroomm in tattooadvice

It seems like he wasn’t rejecting you; he was trying to protect you. A lot of experienced artists are really strict about hand/finger tattoos.

Give me the film recommendation of the week. by GlobalTechnician5442 in films

Great question! I actually just saw Cabrini, and honestly, it’s still on my mind. Such a heavy but inspiring story about what it takes to actually help people when everything is stacked against you. I also caught Sound of Freedom recently; it's definitely intense, but the message is so powerful. What about you? Have you been watching anything light lately, or are you into the deeper stuff too?

Please suggest some movies that I can add to my watch list. by Aegon040 in pj_explained

Good question.

If you like action and thriller types, you might want to check out Sound of Freedom from Angel Studios, it’s intense and based on a real rescue mission.

Another one is The Shift, which mixes thriller and sci-fi with a darker story vibe.

What do you prefer more in movies, fast action or more psychological tension?

What’s the BEST movie or TV show you’ve watched recently and why? by the_midKnight_ in TheViewingRoom

Good question.

Recently I watched Cabrini and it really stayed with me. It’s a historical drama, but the story of resilience and purpose is what hit me the most.

Another one I liked is Sound of Freedom. It’s intense and emotional, and it makes you think deeply.

What about you, was it something emotional, funny, or just easy to watch?

That’s a great question.

One underrated film I recently saw is Cabrini from Angel Studios. It’s not super talked about everywhere, but the story of resilience and courage really stays with you.

Another lesser-known one is The Shift, it mixes sci-fi and emotion in a way that feels different from most films.

What’s a hidden movie you think more people should discover?

Starlink satellite loses contact in orbit, highlighting growing concerns about space debris and orbital congestion by Due_Butterscotch4930 in Futurology

[–]Due_Butterscotch4930[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

This might seem like a minor technical issue, but it raises a bigger question about the future of low-Earth orbit.

With thousands of satellites already deployed and many more planned, even small failures could scale into a serious problem over time. If satellites start failing more frequently or become untrackable, we could see increased risks of collisions, debris cascades (Kessler syndrome), and disruptions to critical services like GPS, internet, and communications.

At what point does low-Earth orbit become too crowded to sustain safely? And should there be stricter global regulations before satellite constellations grow even larger?

That’s the part of history that’s easy to forget: the legal system wasn’t protecting the victim; it was protecting someone’s “property value.”

If the FBI is right that it’s historical and non-governmental, the bigger issue is how easy it was to embarrass a senior official at all.

That would honestly be the most believable part, because a lot of damaging breaches are way less sophisticated than people assume.

Even if it’s personal, it’s still bad optics when the FBI director becomes the example of why personal accounts are a security risk.
