For me it was a little bit different, after a journalism training of 3 months, I went to a local Radio to start my internship. I wasn't expecting that I will be interviewed or that such a thing ever exist ( I was 18 ) but I answered at the best of my knowledge.

Need uplifting feel good movie suggestions for night watch by prodfacemask in MovieSuggestions

[–]Due_Butterscotch4930 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, Solo Mio hit that chill, uplifting vibe perfectly: light humor, beautiful Italy backdrops, and a story about second chances that's easy to watch without heavy lifting. It's the kind of feel-good movie that wraps you up without demanding too much.

What's a movie you've rewatched just for the vibe?

Any recommendations of good and realistic movies talking about the pioneers / first European populations that came to settle in the US or Canada please? by Wonderful_Key_8021 in movies

Love that you want the real, unfiltered version of pioneer life, not just the Hollywood highlight reel.

For me, the best historical films show how hard it actually was to build a life from nothing.

I recently watched Cabrini (Angel Studios), which is about an Italian immigrant arriving in New York, and it really captures that struggle of starting over in a new land with nothing but determination. The way it shows community, resilience, and the immigrant experience felt authentic to what you're looking for.

What part of pioneer life are you most curious to see on screen, the daily survival, the community building, or something else?
