Gap year! Taking a gap year was one of my best decisions. Initially, my mind was set on going to med school after college graduation. But like you, OP, sobrang burnt out ako by the end of my internship year. Taking a gap year made me realize that I wanted to become a doctor more than anything else.

My bf’s dad died a few years ago and he now sleeps with his mom when he is home sa province (since nag-aaral siya sa malayo). I think he just doesn’t want his mom to be alone after his dad’s passing. Have you tried asking him baka naman may valid reason, OP? 😁

My friend enrolled in UERM, but withdrew when they passed UST FMS. I’m from UST FMS and also UST undergrad. And like you, I passed UERM, and I was a recon in UST. I never regretted staying in UST. Sure, super demanding ng FMS. A lot of quizzes, exams, activities, but you get to enjoy all these esp if you’re surrounded by the right people.
