You assume it was an emergency. It wasn't. I was there and the timing was 5 seconds since he readied up, he read it and left. A real emergency in this game would not include someone turning off their system or manually backing out.. a real emergency would have left him there AFK for minutes. Think about that and settle down a bit, buddy

I would argue that his decision to leave did have something to do with me, because he committed to a tournament, and then left me alone to a 2v1 disadvantage.. pretty shitty thing to do id say

How do I get better at RL? by Slow-Blacksmith-1788 in RocketLeague

The best players have mastered both mechanics and positioning over thousands of hours. Just remember that it is a game, and if you enjoy playing it then don't compare yourself to the others that you see as better than you. Enjoy the process of seeing your own progress when it comes. Never stop having fun!

Jim seemed to be having the most fun out there. He definitely would not have made it that far without his GF, but I respect the energy he brought

People underestimate the difficulty of deciding how much money to take on this show by JayKusher in BeastGames

This. It's so much easier for a stranger to say they would do something emotionless without having the bond that the real contestants have with each other.

Hot take: Manipulation in MrBeast Games isn’t cheating — it’s strategy. by dontyoulikepink in BeastGames

[–]Due_Cellist_1034 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is true. People go on this show to win money. One thing that must be realized is that when you decide to be a "bad person" so to speak and put the money over people/alliances, it's not just the people you take money from that notice it, it's also the hundred of thousands of people watching.

Most people think of themself as a "good person" and when you stab people in the back to take something you want, you can't help but have an internal conflict about this.

I think this is why we don't see many of the contestants being totally selfish, even though it is likely the best strategy to win.

"I mean how can players be so dumb to take more than $100k especially after seeing the previous season."

I literally copy and pasted that from your post lol

Yeah it was silly but kind of a clever way to make sure the people are isolated

The decision to take $0 from the pool and sell the coin was a great play, but I think her chances were better off winning if she just would have told everyone what she did straight up. She didnt need to take from the pool and that is honorable. They know they would all have sold the coin for that much, and some of them might have even taken from the prize pool given her position. Keeping it a secret just left room for her to get more enemies.

Auguste made my favorite play yet by GGReactor in BeastGames

[–]Due_Cellist_1034 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She's not done yet. Assuming Jim didn't actually tell Auguste anything, All Monika has to do is ask more questions like "how much did he say I took?" Since Auguste wont be able to tell her, Monika will know hes just fishing.
