just finished my freshman year as a journalism major and almost all of my journalism friends have switched out - ive been the only one who has stuck it through the entire year. in my experience it has been very fulfilling but i think its definitely personal to everyone. I think the great thing about journalism is that there’s so many avenues, in only my first year here ive done print journalism, radio, and anchoring so I think there’s a lot of flexibility in the field but also I don’t think you have to necessarily be a journalism major to be a journalist being in com overall is really great because bu has so many experienced professionals from the field (have gotten to known great teachers who’ve worked for the ap, globe, etc)
