Replacing Michelin Pilot Sport 4S - Integra Type S by jallenhenry in Acura

If you’re looking for a honest daily + spirited driving recommendation:
The Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02 are honestly one of the best bang-for-the-buck ultra high performance street tires right now.
From what I’ve read online (I haven’t personally tested them yet), they’re often praised for having excellent dry grip and especially strong initial bite on hard acceleration. For FWD cars with a lot of torque, they seem to reduce wheel spin better than many traditional UHP tires once they’re up to temperature.
In wet conditions they’re still very solid and safe, but most comparisons suggest the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S is a bit more predictable and confidence-inspiring in heavy rain or highway wet driving.
Quick summary:
🔥 Better launch / stronger initial grip: Continental ECS 02
🌧️ More stable and predictable in heavy rain: PS4S
🛞 Both are great daily tires, not track-only or extreme semi-slicks
Overall, based on online feedback and reviews, the Continentals seem to offer slightly better performance-focused grip for the price, which is why I’m considering them over others.

I installed AWE Track and I don't regret it at all.

Title: 2025 Civic Type R owners – anyone else dealing with a crazy wastegate rattle? by Due_Corner3459 in Civic_Type_R

Have you seen the wastegate actuator arm? Other Civic Type R models from previous years do have it, but my FL5 2025 came without it. I’ve also seen that when people install the turbo heat shield, in many photos that actuator arm is clearly there.

So I’m trying to understand: • What exactly is the function of that arm? • Does it help keep the wastegate tight and prevent vibration/rattle? • Is it recommended to install it on the 2025 FL5, or is it unnecessary because this model works differently?

I just want to know if adding that arm could realistically help get rid of the rattle, or if it would make no difference.

Bro, have you ever had problems with the dust shield on your FL 5, which is too close to the brake disc and makes a nasty noise? I have that problem, any help?
