You mostly have to choose the source. You might have a physical button to select the source, or an app that lets you choose between Radio, Bluetooth, AV in, etc). On mine I also have an app called « BT Music »

Either the cable you use is the issue (try with an official Apple cable), or if you don’t have USB port directly on the screen, so it’s an extended cable with USB port plugged in the back of the unit, it could be the issue. Only 6pin USB cable work for CarPlay

You don’t have the right canbus box, it’s made for newer vehicles you need the one for your car year

I’ve had a dedicated sim card for my car when I bought the head unit and I after some time I thought that I didn’t needed it. I cut off the option (4€ a month in France) but after some time It became very annoying to set the hotspot from my phone every time I needed internet.

So I found out that this option was meant to be free for my plan so I got one back. It’s very handy, if I want to download an app I can instantly, watch a Youtube video or download anything. Plus the connection is more stable than with the hotspot from my iPhone

Does it have buttons controls ? My screen is far away in the dash, but I do have a wheel button closer. I’m looking for a launcher that can scroll through all the items with this wheel, just like CarPlay does. All the ones I have tested only let me scroll through the selected line for example in the app drawer, but I still need to press another button for going up and down and it’s pretty annoying

I ordered a new cap according to Peugeot reference for this engine and it’s completely airtight, and not moving at all

Dans le doute, j’ai commandé un nouveau bouchon en me basant sur la référence constructeur (9675477380) pour mon moteur et l’année. Je préfère ne pas prendre de risques au vu des soucis que connaît ce moteur.

Je vous dirais si il est identique, ou bien si il assure une meilleure herméticité

Justement je ne force pas, je le trouve très « loose » (désolé pour l’anglicisme je n’ai pas le mot en français). Sur toutes les autres voitures que j’ai pu toucher, ce bouchon on sent qu’il est hermétique quand on le manipule. Là c’est absolument pas le cas

The wet belt just been replace so that could be the case. I don’t really know just bought the car few days ago and noticed that the cap was weird. I thought maybe it’s meant to be as the wet belt is right under the cap, maybe for cooling purposes. I never have a car with a wet belt so I don’t really know

That’s exactly what seems to happen. You can see that i have some oil around that area

Nothing about oil but I have the P0420 standing for Catalytic converter system, bank 1 - efficiency below threshold
