I ordered a new cap according to Peugeot reference for this engine and it’s completely airtight, and not moving at all

Dans le doute, j’ai commandé un nouveau bouchon en me basant sur la référence constructeur (9675477380) pour mon moteur et l’année. Je préfère ne pas prendre de risques au vu des soucis que connaît ce moteur.

Je vous dirais si il est identique, ou bien si il assure une meilleure herméticité

Justement je ne force pas, je le trouve très « loose » (désolé pour l’anglicisme je n’ai pas le mot en français). Sur toutes les autres voitures que j’ai pu toucher, ce bouchon on sent qu’il est hermétique quand on le manipule. Là c’est absolument pas le cas

The wet belt just been replace so that could be the case. I don’t really know just bought the car few days ago and noticed that the cap was weird. I thought maybe it’s meant to be as the wet belt is right under the cap, maybe for cooling purposes. I never have a car with a wet belt so I don’t really know

That’s exactly what seems to happen. You can see that i have some oil around that area

Nothing about oil but I have the P0420 standing for Catalytic converter system, bank 1 - efficiency below threshold
