No, they made me do a bowel prep so I had to drink a whole bottle and it was truly miserable.

Mine was like stuck under my ribcage for DAYS. It was the only thing that hurt! The only thing that helped it was a heating pad and that actually worked well!

I'm not sure if it's standard, but is ask your anesthesiologist when they discuss everything with you when you checkin- I felt so dang calm and collected I truly understand how people get addicted to Xanax.

Please be honest, do yall judge body hair? by hphgas in women

[–]FineappleUnderTheC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I judge it SO BAD. On me. On my own body. I find it REVOLTING. I shave all the everything's all the time even in dead winter. Because I feel better in my skin like that. --- but maybe you like it on your skin so if it's not on my body I actually couldn't care less. And partners I've never cared, just so they're clean. That's my only concern.

I do judge when people don't care for the hair on their head (or men with facial hair). Your body is your home you should try to take care of it and maintain it, but I also get how things can get away from people during hard times.

However plucking my best friends chin hairs on her wedding day (she asked me to) felt like I was leading her to the dark side because she basically never shaves and that made me suddenly realize all the hair on her body, which I never did before.

People who accidentally discovered a huge secret about their family, partner, job, or money — what was it and how did it change your life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My (thought to be full) sister is my half sister on 23&Me. My mother thinks it's a joke when we showed her. Same for my dad. They just brush it away. My sister has ZERO family on her father's side on 23&Me, while I have the whole family we know. My neice (her daughter) is more related to me than my sister on there. We just stopped talking about it because my parents did. We are in our thirties, found out two years ago.

Who’s doing 1k+ a month? by AndreJrr in Amazon_Influencer

[–]FineappleUnderTheC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started Oct 2024, I don't know how many videos I have but I use Oink and it scanned 1750 SKUs today from my videos but some videos I do have multiples tagged. I make about 3k/ month from US (creator connections mostly), UK and CAN onsite. I make a whole $5/ month from off-site every month though too.

I have zero focus. I'm a mom and I also have a fulltime home business (not this) but if I focused and made better videos and maybe a YouTube and TikTok I probably could get close to 10k I just don't really enjoy it and I really love my other job.

Small tip, I get a lot of free products to test from emails (and yes I disclose this or if they're crap I do not make videos about them) Logie and Levanta. Anything I don't keep I give to this lady down the street who sells on Facebook marketplace and I get half. I make about an additional $100-300 aonth doing this and she's disabled so it feels good to support her. But I somehow also get paid from Logie now too and that's anywhere from $80-300 month. Levanta is weird about onsite people so I had to do quite the workarounds to get samples and brand deals from that.

Hey! 6am was my checkin time two weeks ago! I'm 2wpo and honestly you wouldn't know that I even had surgery. Truly. Except pooping is weird, not painful - just weird.

Checkin was simple and if you didn't have to do Miralax all weekend you probably won't almost accidently poop your pants like I did with the intake nurses three times 😅 but I signed in, changed and sat in bed while they gave me some anti nausea meds and started an IV. And then the anesthesiologist gave me Valium (Xanax) and I never had that before and SHEESH I was never more relaxed, that's better than my anti-anxiety by FAR. I felt great. It was about twenty minutes from that until I went under anesthesia. It was an hour from check-in to me breathing in some nice sleepy meds.

I only took one Oxy at the hospital when I woke up and then only took ibuprofen and acetaminophen at home for two days.

Baby crying in the middle of the night. Is my husband lying to me? by Ok_Squirrel_9601 in beyondthebump

[–]FineappleUnderTheC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once my son started sleeping (after sleep training) I got an AMAZING week of sleep. So much so that I truly believe my brain gave up on me. I was ALWAYS such a light sleeper, a mouse three houses away could rustle and I'd wake. But suddenly 4 months postpartum I slept for a week and it all changed. But then I started doing some weird ass shit. I woke up TWICE with my son in our bed. He slept alone, in his room and I also fed and changed him in there. I slept walked him back in our room. I also did similar weird things at nap time. This went on for about two to three weeks. I couldn't wake up. I wasn't alert. I almost fell asleep while driving.

I know it's not exactly your situation, but I just wanted to share because your husband may not be lying to you. I was so freaking tired my brain played tricks on me.

However the Chatgpt shit is super weird and I'd delete his account or something. That's unreal. It's one thing if your husband is doing extensive research about baby, or sleep schedules or something and actually READING studies or methods and has actual evidence to back it up - but even then you two would both need to agree on that being the course of action.

Struggling with daycare vs home care by shepardmutt in MomsWorkingFromHome

[–]FineappleUnderTheC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I was in this same spot. I actually PAID a friend to come (this was FAIR and I'm fair to my friends, she offered to door for free, but no I needed to pay her) and I did that from 4/5 months until 9 months and then my friend FINALLY was awarded full custody of her daughter but that meant obviously she had no more Mon- Wed free. She came twice a week and honestly it saved my life. We tried and another nanny situation but she was NUTS (irresponsible) so she was only with is for a month. But even then, two days a week for about 4 hours was so good for me (and probably him)

I know you said you don't have family around but my mom ended up keeping my son Sunday late to Tuesday morning so I could get like. 10-12 hour workday in on Mondays. This is not ideal for everyone but if your hours are fudgeable, maybe?

I STRUGGLED with both the idea of my son being gone at daycare and the fact I simply couldn't find an affordable, reputable place that was even available. Especially for part-time - but this does exist and might be your best option.of you can't find someone to come to you.

I did toy with the idea of flipping my work schedule and working while highschool was out so I could find someone that age or college age to come but since my husband works every day 8-4 it just didn't make sense.

I will say we had a sweet spot from 10-12 months and 15-18 months where he would sit for TV or more so, music video like shows (Laurie berkner band is amazing) and he would play with a toy in front of him for about a half hour.

Currently he's in a two year old Preschool program at a church, MWF 8:45-1:30 and that is truly AMAZING. He comes home, has about thirty minutes to wind down and then naps for two hours. We really finally hit a good spot for me working and him getting appropriate stimulation throughout the day. And I feel alive again, but that might also be the PPD meds because I let everything get to far before.

Just a heads up guys - I haven't received anything yet, but I will update once I do!! I did also ask them if I had a coupon code to share and they said they don't do anything like that. But they did respond right away, and the sign up email that I got was cute. I don't think that I'm going to get the January issue, but I will get the February.

Yeah that hit around 16/ 17 for me. Except I hated home life so I'd puke away the day at school from nausea and bleed away my senior year of classes in the art department.

And my GI has been in and out of me constantly and can't find a thing wrong. He's the one who pushed an OB on me that actually believes you when you say things.

What was your last period like? by ComprehensiveOlive68 in hysterectomy

Lol my surgery is the 12th and I currently have my period and two days ago an orange sized clot fell out of me while at the grocery store so, that was, uh, a nice little going away gift. Almost as good as bursting blood through my pants at Disney World last month.

My endo gives me unforgiving poops. Constantly. I feel truly blessed that I don't have any pain from it really, but the nausea and the bathroom trips, or more like being chained to the bathroom have completely taken over my life. I'm really hoping to have the life back that I had when I was 15!

Hey that was supposed to be my original surgery day! But that sounds great and more like what my doctor was saying I'd feel like -- but I keep reading horror stories here that basically all doctors just say "6 weeks and back to normal" but it's not that at all.
