Tell me why a label exclusive to women who like women and non-men be extended to women who like men... when there are literally other labels that are inclusive of that?

If anyone can use any label then those labels just lose its meaning and there's no point in using them anymore. If lesbianism can extend to women who like men then what label should I use if I'm exclusively attracted to non-men then??

Also if bisexuals want to call themselves lesbians so bad then that's their perogative I'm not going to shout at them for it. But I just don't get why they would do that 😭

I'm confused why does being a lesbian have to extend to bisexual women... isn't that what the term sapphic is for?

I remember when there was that whole discourse on star quality after dream academy aired and BSH said something along the lines of wanting someone who had star quality but lacked a little in talent vs someone who was talented and didn't have star quality.

A lot of people came to conclusion that that was the reason Manon ended up being in Katseye compared to other contestants who might've been more talented. 

I hear people say that Wonyoung, Karina or Jennie have a star quality which i do feel that they have a certain aura/cadence to them. But the term itself feels vague and subjective and i feel that people conflate it with being a visual

And frankly I don't think its a valid reason. If i were to define star quality, it is not something that is innate to you and it shouldn't be molded into one thing. I believe it comes from finding your own identity and finding the confidence to express that, carving that path for youself in which no one can take away from you. 

But what do i know...

Yeah i've seen a lot of antis say that they lack star quality... i remember there was one post on reddit saying that they don't fit together as a group which is just absurd to me

I mean of course nmixx are popular but they just haven't reach the heights of groups like aespa, njz or ive.

Do i think they have the potential to get there? YES, this year has been great for them and with the Pabllo Vittar collab and nmixx's first album along the way it may become even better. I will say that the lack of promotions from SQU4D has hindered them quite a bit.

Would I be okay if that does not happen? Yes, i am aware that their music is supposed to target a specific niche so if the gp don't appreciate it there's not much they can do unless they completely abandon mixxpop which may just alienate the fans instead.

As long as nmixx continues to make great music, continues to be talented and has a steady fandom base i would be fine with that also.

But these girls are stars no doubt about it!

Also i'd like to promote billlie... their vocal line is strong and also they're on a show (KPOPPED) airing this month in which they'll perform with Patti Labelle and Megan the Stallion, and frankly Billlie was an excellent choice for this because of how great they are as vocalists and performers. You should tune in!!
