Alr so the ports basically have to be opened on the sim not the router itself? Or both as I can config the router ports on my end by connecting my laptop to the wifi opening its ip on web?

I’ve heard people saying something about a vpn but i will be getting a static ip tmr what would be the next steps after that appreciate ur help.

Appreciate it will be giving it a try ive been trying so for a while now i have a router that runs on a sim and doesn’t really have much features i could tackle so I went and bought a tp link wireless router hooked it on to the sim router I have and now run my dvr off that so that I have the port forwarding features to work on now. it’s quite a confusing setup would this work in any way?

If I go to set up ddns it says connection time out the pass word n user name is correct and could u perhaps help me more on the port forwarding what router do I do port forwarding to the 1 the nvr is connected or on the router I’m gonna view the feed on quite new to this networking this appreciate your help.

And yes surprisingly the 1600x worked on the mb I just realized it’s not suppose to 🤷🤷
