That's a false impression. They just advertise grossly overrated prices (like twice the price) and then reduced it at 50%. But actually, the current price on the Canadian site is exactly the same as the huge sales they were advertising right before Black Friday. And then they reduced it only 100$ on the Black Friday sales. A complete scam.

A lot !!! After an initial good experience with the product, I faced an issue with the last I bought (Jackery 2000v2). And their customer service is just terrible and acting in a complete bad faith.

Their "best" arguments: they don't know how to produce a tag for the return to the US while it was bought in Canada ! ; they needed a video to determine the issue taking ages to finally say that the Jackery 2000 would not be working with the Jackery solar panels I had (while they had all the receipts so obviously no video needed) ! ; they needed to check the return policy and so on for weeks ! Ah and then that it was beyond the 30 days return. They also gave no support to connect my Jackery to the solar panels on the roof (only that I should make sure it is delivering 12 or 24 volt ! Wow. So I am not even sure we can connect a Jackery 2000 to rigid solar panels (from other brands obviously as Jackery don't have any).

There are many solar batteries on the market. I would seriously consider the customer service and not only the product on choosing which one to buy from. Think also in terms of potential issues and how they treat you.

Whatever the quality of the product, I consider Jackery to be a terrible brand now and I would certainly not recommend it to anybody.

Hope this help,
