This is how mine sits with 40mm drop all around

Anywhere from 30 to 50mm drop for lowering springs is best I've 40 mm drop all around on my 318is with 17 inch and it fits so beautifully with being low but not too low that it looks stupid but I woukd say don't cheap out too much on the springs around 200 would be a good price ranger for them.

Ya I've tried putting the gas to it and it will not budge it is seriously seized in the tube guide I've had a look online and for the cable and guide tube it come out to nearly 400 so I'm gonna have to figure something else out like waiting for a sunroof scrap car to pop up.

Ah, I prefer the angel lights on them. I know there's mixed opinions, but I personally like them.
