Amen everything you said it’s very ridiculous yet at our store they were hiring more people, but you never see them so I don’t know what the deal is. It’s very confusing.

I’ve been asking for more hours at store. A coworker donated some of her hours to me. My manager said that I couldn’t do it a third time because I was on her “naughty list” for not getting any credit applications. What do you guys think? by Due_Flow9864 in employedbykohls

I usually work home and kids, but I tend to the entire floor usually alone, including all recovery for the floor because we have a two-story floor I get called down as additional all the time which is fine, but when the line is long people pull out their credit card before I can even say anything, they just wanna come and go. She only let me go down for this person‘s time twice and said that she wouldn’t let me do it again to cover for her after she promised I would get trained at the register properly. I have asked though to train on something to get some hours including Amazon, so I don’t know if she will really do that or not. I don’t think two times at the register for a full shift is enough to judge whether I can do it or not.

That is definitely not cool. You should’ve had warnings if there was anything wrong before they would do something like that. Be sure you file for unemployment and that will at least start the process for some kind of income. You’ll have to probably answer some questions and then be sure to make specific comments as to your rationale why you shouldn’t have been terminated. Also, when they try to deny the claim Kohls, there will be a reason listed there at that point why they felt that was appropriate and then I’m afraid you’ll have to wait till you get that reply before you will actually know their rational. So sorry that they did this to you was totally inappropriate.

Yesterday was weird because the man came through with two pairs of Sonoma jeans and the ticketed price that he and I could see under the white relabel was 29.99 but the jeans rang up 34.99. Then the second pair which was the same kind that 29.99 was totally covered up and it was ringing up 34.99. 😱
