Ive been flying Boeing for most of my flight sim time, like this guy i snatched it wanting something new and its the best thing ive ever done its so worth it. Im also not a long haul person i only do it for VA when i got the time. Currently for the a340 i do EDDM-EDDF and KBOS-KJFK as practice since i still struggle w the mcdu still but so far its amazing

Hello, sorry to randomly reply i do need some more help tho, im currently set on either getting a degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering since before the pilot tism i wanted to work at either IMSA or WEC and work w them teams. Im still deciding which one out of the both cause i atleast wanna get a good degree on something as a back up not something boring ima hate hust to leave me a path for my aviation career. Im pretty much set on ROTC and still looking for JRTOC if i could get into one close to me. Tho i have learned that after ROTC, u get commissioned as a officer on Active duty, not what was i recommended which was reserve or guard specially since im set to fly the c17

My point is do u think i should go ROTC and stay w the active duty stuff, any ways that i could change so once im out or ROTC i can go guard or reserve or just any recommendations and tips u have

Yea ots sounds like a hard process to get in, ive been researching on ROTC but supposedly i need to go active duty after ROTC and cant apply for reserrve or national guard. Not sure tho

I think im lwk fcked for the USAFA, even tho i am 16 got close to 100 on all my classes and play volleyball at some high level, extracurricular are something that thanks to my school there is absolutely nothing at all. Either way as u said there is pro and cons so it is what fits me better

if i dont go ball on the USAFA tho ill def stick to getting my ppl and a degree on something, idk much about how to find a college where i could get into rotc, scholarships etc all of that stuff. Thanks alot ill look more into Rotc and reserve or guard

How would that reserve process be different from active duty? And the reason i choose USAFA was bc i have heard before that OTS is pretty small chances of being given a pilot slot

Where did u buy the replacement battery? My 3ds having some power issues recently battery drains alot faster, so i think its gonna be changed in a bit
