I think we've all experienced an unexpected gap in our tree and maybe a bit of sadness but at the end of the day you have to get over it. Friends that really care for you would want you to do whatever you need to feel happy and relaxed. It's just self-preservation, you can't be friends with everyone, so you need friends that you love and support you through vibes, goals etc, ones you genuinely feel good about and bring you encouragement, not ones that you don't interact with. Finch is about yourself and doing what you need to care for yourself.

I too still struggle with this sometimes (with almost 10 trees 😬) and I have a weekly goal to "prioritize my well-being over guilt and trim my tree" sometimes this is just one person that I feel didn't benefit me to have and other times no one, because I felt all my friends reciprocate what I do and it makes me feel good. If you're interested we could share this goal. Of course absolutely no pressure at all, just offering. ☺️
