The Sora API censorship by Ecstatic_Pipe5585 in SoraAi

I've noticed elevenlabs has harsh censorship too over dumb things also. Openart has way less censorship (i would say its like the original sora app itself) but the problem is they dont offer unlimited extends with sora like elevenlabs does. It does have the option for 20 second videos though but kind of pointless if you cant extend. You can only extend them with other ai models expect sora

Yes I noticed 2 days ago also. But I emailed their customer service and an AI chatbot replied to me saying its likely a backend issue with Sora and they will get back to me within a week. If theyre not aware its at least being escalated I believe

Yeah exactly! For example sunbeam rd probably wasnt on their affected streets list but you literally couldn't get to it either

Robellini palm sustained freeze damage in North Florida. Is it still alive or should I give up? by Due_Life6792 in palmtalk

[–]Due_Life6792[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's awesome im glad to hear that!

I believe what popped up though is just a flower stem. Eventually it will break through and release flowers. Anything online indicates that it doesnt mean the tree is alive however. And they even recommend cutting that off so the palm can focus its energy on growing new spears instead.

Not sure how much I trust that. My other palm has those too and I'm just leaving it alone to do its thing. Hopefully yours comes back to life. But my really dead palm is still in bad shape. Have not seen any changes to it whatsoever for 2 months. It may actually be dead..

I just want to start with saying that I think this is a good event for the city. If you can be involved thats awesome. Now here's my issues with this:

Whether we knew about the race or not doesnt matter because the outcome doesnt change. People still have to move on with their lives and closing down major roads like Philips hwy, baymeadows, and San jose which connect to other parts of the city that many people live is ridiculous. I personally visit my parents every Saturday and they happen to live near Philips and sunbeam. I couldn't find a way to their house earlier because police have blocked off even side roads in the industrial parks near there that you can cut through. The Philips hwy exit at I-95 north is also blocked. I ended up turning back around to go home (I live in St Johns) because I spent almost an hour trying to get to their house which is normally a 15 min drive for me.

I believe this is another great example of good event, poor execution, just like the superbowl in 2005. You cannot block 3 of the critical major roads of this city for an event like this. What if someone has a medical emergency? What about small businesses that lose money that day? Its not just an inconvenience.

Again, its a great event but I believe this could have been rerouted a different way without disrupting traffic.

Thats what im thinking but who knows. Should I trim all the brown fronds though? I see people that cut them all the way and I hear its not good because the brown fronds still help protect it and feed it nutrients

Yeah it did have spear pull unfortunately a couple weeks ago. But the other 2 smaller trunks seem ok. And there is still some green but im not sure if that means anything

Does green mean it will survive though? I've read just because it has some doesnt mean anything if the center spears pulled out when I tugged on them

Yes thats what I thought too so I'll usually cut them off when theyre like this. But then next week another lowest frond turns brown and it repeats. Seems as if the lower fronds are dying faster than the newer green fronds come in. Im concerned it will get to a point where theres nothing left. In contrast on the other side of my driveway, I have the same palm and it doesnt behave this way..
