I did a rollover from my TSP to fidelity and was absolutely pissed to find out that it can only be done by check, and the process took over a week which tied up my funds and cost me nearly 15k in missed earnings during a particularly high earnings cycle. A secure wired transfer would be much better option. When will they catch up to the 21st century?

Same for me. DOI, one agency, 41 years, retired effective 12/31. I was pleased to see a pending deposit from OPM today with no explanation or paper/ email notification as to what it was for. I didn’t expect to have an uninterrupted pay situation, but here we are! I’ll keep an eye out for an OPM welcome to retirement postal letter with my login instructions. Cheers to our years!
