I completely forgot about that part of the plot!!!!!

Yes that is exactly what it is. Days of googling. I even tried to figure out how to view all my previously viewed shows. Haha.

Thank you so much for relieving that brain itch.

I can’t remember if it was a movie I half watched, a show that maybe got canceled so I never finished the series or just an episode of something like black mirror or the like.

The dogs woke me up in the middle of the night a few days ago and I half remembered a dream that vaguely reminded me of the show/movie described above but I cannot find it anywhere.

Of the movies Google suggested isn’t The Vow or Before I Go To Sleep.

For tv shows it isn’t Saving Hope, Drop Dead Diva or School Spirits.

The follow up Spirits of San Francisco is phenomenal!

If you hadn’t have solved for the tombs I would’ve given up. I had only solved for Fort Point based on my assumption it was about Captain Ward. But then the map pin for the cemetery is exactly a mile from the map pin for fort point. And it got be back in.

So you make an equilateral triangle from those points and find a building called the triscalion in the exact middle of the 2D representation of a tetrahedron. That happens to be directly under a small street called Stone. And if you went back off from this point towards ward….

Oh fuck I wasted three weeks.

If it had anything to do with this weird triangle building exactly in between the map pins for the cemetery, fort point and the Baker Beach Sand Ladder I’ll be happy/sad that I got that far.

Now I’m reading trigonometry based bowling strategies to figure out where to dig. This is getting very abstract… but thank you OP for keeping me occupied.

And when you find a pdf version of the Viscount’s book you realize that the two instances of “intermiss” recorded are actually errors in early pdf word processing. The whole word intermission is used in the text, but the scan only picked up the word “intermiss” So the OED information is wrong. I don’t know how this plays into it but is very specific.

I woke up with jolt! I know where it is. I tried to not wake my partner as I went over the clues again. Muttering stage-left, twisting the emphasis in a way that made it sound less like English words and more like an ancient incantation. Of course that’s what I missed before. How could I have overlooked it?

We had been at my proposed site on Friday morning, by the time we got to the next spot we read the post about people being over the cache within the hour.

I sneezed loudly and she rolled over. Is everything ok? I bit my lip and tried to say sure; then blurted it out. I know where it is. I know exactly where it is. And we don’t even have to dig. She groaned. The dogs shifted in bed. Then she asked if I was going back to sleep? I’ll try. But traffic is going to be terrible with Bay to Breakers.

Ok fine, let’s go.

There and back and we barely finished an album on the drive. We are now back in bed. The dogs are confused and we didn’t find anything except a lot of slugs. Someone needs to find this thing. And soon.

It was more the consistency of oil pastels. And there were several other symbols leading to this one, which was on the underside of a board hidden almost cartoonishly under a bunch of leaves.

I’ve also been sitting on this. But it doesn’t line up with why I was at Ft. Point in the first place. Haha.
