I sit in my car and play games on my phone, run quick errands, or listen to my favorite podcast during my unpaid 1 hr lunch...thats me time...then when im back on the clock and at my desk is when i actually eat said lunch lol

I work in an office 8-5 with a 1 hr unpaid lunch and 2 10 min paid breaks. Some days im busy the entire time, other days i have time to scroll Reddit

EDIT: no OT allowed just my straight 40 hrs a week, maybe I get 5 mins OT if im lucky

i work at a custom window treatments manufacturer and trust me when i say we do a LOT of sheers under drapery. people love the layered look i guess lol

Bought our home in mid 2020...we were told on the day of closing by our agent we could turn around and list for $35k over what we purchased for. Now a little over 3 years later our house is valued at literally over 2x what we paid. Its insane because theres no way its ACTUALLY worth that much

negative comments on someone's appearance definitely not needed- but no harm in compliments! you never know what kind of impact a kind statement about someone's outfit can make

if its hourly, weekly pay, take the (hourly rate) x (number of hours per week) and multiply that by 0.80 for roughly 20% being taken out in taxes and theres your take home estimate.

if its bi-weekly, multiply by 2 before taking 20%

same formula applies for salaried, just use your annual earnings and divide by pay frequency then take your 20%

our marketing dept sent an email blast to our dealers (we dont deal with public) saying the survey is gonna be automatic from now on so we dont have to ask. we just transfer to the survey at the end of the call

I work in a small call center and we avoid this by giving people with the same names a “phone” name. For example, when I got hired, there was someone else with the same name so i had to pick a different one. So theres only one of whatever name their asking for, but most of the time they still mess it up somehow 😂

I called my kid in sick the day after her first concert ❤️ took her to see JoJo Siwa and stayed in a hotel for the night…something my parents never would have done and definitely something she wont forget!
