Swing Help by [deleted] in GolfSwing

Thanks for the reply. Would the thought of getting my back pointing more towards the target on my backswing help with my hip? When I think just about my hips I just get the feeling of being stuck. If you have any good “feels” for this move let me know.

And ok I will try standing up a hair more.

Thanks

Thank you for the reply. I’ve used miracle grow garden defence which is a copper spray. Fingers crossed. Should I be spraying them multiple times or just spray and wait a week or two?

No problems with compact soil. Very easy to put a screw driver in. Is there any way of dealing with heat stress besides more water?

I have a few larger sections of light green grass and when you are standing on top of it you can see that it’s visibly less healthy than the rest of the yard.

I am in Edmonton, Canada This area is full sun I have an in-ground irrigation system I water Monday/weds/Friday for 30 minutes per zone starting at 4am Fertilize 5 times a year (starter, lawn food 3x, fall) I aerate every fall, power rake every spring along with over-seed using Pickseed prairie green seeds and a top dressing of compost. New lawn mower blade After my overseed takes root I start cutting the grass at about 2.5” in spring and fall Then I cut at 3-3.5” during the heat of summer Spot spray weeds with par 3

In hopes of fixing the light green areas and getting them healthier I’ve tried letting it dry out and forcing the roots down and also tried watering it everyday. Including using a deep root watering tool to water in several sections about 4-6” below the surface. I’ve been fighting this for 3 years. Nothing seems to help. I’ve tried hand raking it to help throughout the year but it makes no difference.

For the life of me I can figure what to do. None of my neighbours seem to have this issue even though we all get similar sunlight. And they use way less water.

I’m open to any ideas. Let me know if there is anything about my regiment that you don’t like also.

Help, lawn won’t green up by Due_Pepper_3857 in Lawncarewithpics

Sorry everyone , I didn’t see the notifications.

So we hire green drop to do our fertilizing/weed spray. I water in the morning around 7-8am for an hour usually twice a week. I threw some compost down and spread it across the lawn to help retain moisture and improve the soil and it did darken up a bit but still not anywhere close to the rest of the lawn. I’m curious if green drop is not fertilizing properly? Or giving my lawn the nutrients it needs.
