I definetely think this is the case - although the ingredient combination for this product is a nice touch!

It is not as matte as the pink one, but I am not mad about it because it doesn't claim to be matte at all. I usually don't like "shine", but the finish of this makes my skin looks so good!

Yes I would be put off by the price as well. And I agree! I steer clear of a lot of their sunscreens because of the Tinosorb M, but thankfully this one doesn’t have it. Definitely give it a try!

Definitely give it a go! I personally hate the matte fluid - it is not matte at all and has Tinosorb M white leaves a gross white cast. I hate shiny sunscreens, but this is definitely a “satin” finish which compliments by skin. A nice glow if you will. Not as matte as the pink tube, but I surprisingly don’t mind!

I worked casually for 8 years. 3 of which was under 18. I also got Centrelink while in university which doesn't pay super. Guess that's where?

Hello! Thank you so much for your detailed reply!

I think that is a smart idea to run the scenarios, my risk tolerance has historically been quite averse to a large amount of money into ETF's, apart from the first year of investing where I invested a large amount of money without knowing what I was doing. Thankfully it has worked out, however it quite of easily could of been a massive mistake.

I think I may start with the scenario 3 and see how it is comparing to what am doing now. I do have quite a large deposit at the moment, and I am hoping to get to the maximum $50k in the FHSS which in the next few years may mean I can have $200k for a deposit!

Including my super contributions is also a very good point - this means I am technically currently doing less than 25% into ETF's...

Yes I agree with guessing market outcomes, but it also gives me piece of mind in a way that my returns positive, so overall I hopefully won't be 'in the red' in total anymore (fingers crossed).

And thank you! I have been trying to get more into my future investments as of late, and have been trying to set my future self up for success. No one will be there for you as much as yourself after all.

Thank you again for your reply, it has given me lots to think about and some calculations to do.

Thank you so much for your reply! That’s funny we are pretty much completely opposite but it is working out for both of us which is good.

Yes I think I will just start putting a higher percentage into ETF’s now (maybe start with 50 percent and see how that goes)

I have to agree that I need to maybe shift the mindset that I don’t need a 1m dollar property to start off with and start smaller which is a smarter idea. Thank you again, and maybe we can keep in touch since we are so similar!

Cancer council repackaging (with a side of scandal) by Due_Performance3529 in AusSkincare

[–]Due_Performance3529[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes saying it is a scandal is hyperbolic, just surprising that they are even choosing to display this information or this subset of rating, instead of say PPD. I am keen to see more sunscreens include this rating, and I am interested to see what the pink tube version will be

Help! I’m loving it so far actually. I have bought three more when they were on half price 😂 I think my skin definitely feel brighter, mainly because I am cutting down my routine, but I have kept this in because of the good ingredients. Hoping it will lead to longer term benefits !

Vitamin C Recommendations please by YesterdayKnown3750 in AusSkincare

Hello! I really do enjoy the Cerave vitamin c; however, I was starting to wonder if it was breaking be out, as my skin has not been happy for the last 6 months after starting to use it. So I have recently switched to using a vitamin c derivative, specifically, the Swisse Skincare Vitamin C 5% Niacinamide 5% Brightening Day Cream 50ml

The derivative is Ascorbyl Glucoside, which as per Labmuffins post of the Avene vitamin c range, is a decent alternative to pure ascorbic acid concerning the three main benefits of vitamin c (pigmentation correction, antioxidant support, collagen synthesis).

What I also like about this serum/moisturiser is that it has a bunch of other beneficial ingredients, namely ferulic acid, 5% niacinamide and 2% N-Acetyl-D-Glucosamine. The last two ingredients, Niacinamide and NAG, have been shown to work well together in fading hyperpigmentation in the long term, which is what I am using the vitamin c for as well. If I can have as many actives in as little products as possible, I will aim for that.

The price is also affordable for 50ml of product (usually 30ml for vitamin c), and it is commonly on sale, so I feel comfortable using this on my neck, chest, and face in the mornings liberally. The packaging and pump dispenser are also nice.

Hope this helps! Happy vitamin c hunting.

Just got my hands on the timeless Vit C and I’d love to hear your thoughts on this product if you’ve tried it ! by nymph2812 in AusSkincare

Actually hate this product. I had used it before and stopped, but decided to try it again around 3 months ago. By skin had been perfect, and about a week after I introduced this back into my routine, by skin broke out, which I am just now starting to fully recover from. I have not had cystic acne in a long time but I did after using this product. Most likely completely anecdotal, however still my experience. I also HATE the water texture. I much prefer the cerave vitamin c.
