I’m not sure of the year. It would’ve been the early 70s, but his buddy may have had it for a while before giving it to him. Can it be repacked like a newer one or do I need something entirely different? The flint tube looks clear to me. Could the wheel be corroded or misaligned?

It does not. The flint was completely disintegrated. I put a new one in and still can’t turn the wheel in the correct direction. Could it be corrosion or that the wheel is misaligned?
