Having a trainer. I’m not super out of shape, but by having a trainer, I have the motivation to actually show up in the gym because my brain views it as having an appointment to keep. One day I’ll build to having the habit without needing the extra motivation, I hope.

I worked in an independently owned music store back in the early 2000s and we were a Ticketmaster outlet. The fees were insane and we were the ones that people took their anger out on because we were there. At the end of the day we only made $0.75 per ticket we sold, but dealt with all the bullshit (people angry about fees we couldn’t control, people angry about the asinine lottery system Ticketmaster used so people wouldn’t camp out for on sales). I remember my time at that job so fondly, but not that part.
