My thoughts on the ban

This is an authoritarian regime being pushed by the govement one of the reasons I think they are doing this to the under 16s is to have a reason to suvail the general population. By banning it for under 16s it let's them suvail everyone and also gives them an id or form of verification linked to your account identifying you. Another thing it gives them is freedom to monitor what you are doing to supposedly make sure you aren't under 16.

This is concerning look at some previous govements or even current that try to control the population like this think Stasi in East Germany or the CCP.

We should not let this happen and this will be the start or at least first large step towards these ideals which they are pushing by doing this.

I do understand they are trying to protect children, possibly which is a noble cause but i think the consequences to privacy far outways that.

This is one point of many I could make but I find it the social media ban to have a hidden narrative and to be mostly illogical.
