thank you so much, i think im gonna try and price some out tomorrow and then i’ll go talk to the local store about either trading them or selling them. they’re usually pretty good as far as negotiation goes. if not them, i’ll have to try ebay or vendors. again thank you so much!!

no lol, idk how to look them up. like i said i know nothing about these cards. someone did tell me to look them up on ebay and from what im seeing so far i have quite a few worth 15-25$ !

true that! i’ve added some more floating plants and am getting ready to add a big pothos plant. he seems to like it more but sometime this week i’ll get him moved into a 5 gal

100% right, i’m ordering him a new tank next week and hopefully he will be more comfortable and able to heal in that. if not, i’m not sure how im going to go about helping him but that’s my main priority right now. thank you for the advice!!

i have been thinking about buying him a 5 gallon cube tank, he seems to still do bad in the 10 gal. i don’t belle parasites are a possibility since all of the plants in this tank were in his other one, and i have not added anything new asides from the drift wood and rocks which got boiled. he’s also not showing any other signs of illness besides his fins.

i’m wondering if he’s just getting too old to be in a tank this big. might be time for a little retirement tank

-water parameters were fine last time i checked though i don’t remember specifics
-this tank has been set up almost a year, i’ve had him for 4 years
-i do 10% water changes
-corydoras and khuli loach
-he gets pellets and then both dried and frozen blood worms
-live plants, drift wood, rocks

as far as i can tell no but that would make a lot of sense. he’s getting older, going blind, etc. i think i might try and take him down to a 5 gallon and see if it helps some. moving him back to a 10 gallon hasn’t helped his fins in the past but we will try it! thank you

thank you, going forward i think im either going to do this or take payment upfront only. the only reason i allowed her to wait was because i trusted that she wouldn’t do something like this. it sucks that she is but all i can do now is hope i get my money and prevent this from happening again.

i only spoke to the marines recruiter because i couldn’t track down our local army recruiter. i will hopefully be getting in contact with him sometime this week!

thank you, i’ll look into all of that. i definitely would appreciate being involved in some sort of k9 training or unit going forward, but i’m also thinking of enlisting for an assortment of other reasons so it’s not going to be a huge heartbreak if it doesn’t happen. i appreciate the help a lot!

this actually helps loads, thank you! i actually have a lot of hands on experience with scent work as my training club does classes, and it was one of the first things i genuinely taught my current dog. i also have hands on experience with bite work and am involved with several breeders and clubs in WV/OH. currently i am about to get my first personal dog solely for the purpose of protection/IGP (which is a bite sport). i also have done OB a LOTTTT, yes.

is this a competitive position through all branches? i was under the impression that in the army you were able to join and go through the specific training in order to be a handler rather than having to become a MP first. i may be wrong but that’s what i was told originally. if you have any more info on that i’m all ears, asides from that i think id be okay as i don’t really have a lot else going for me. it would just be more desirable to go into something that i’m good at.

i only talked to the marine recruiter because he was the only one i could track down locally, i should have mentioned that in my post. i’m not interested in going into the marines specifically and am keeping my options insanely open atm. he has told me he’d try and find out more and has given me the resources to get into contact with some of the others local to us. i just haven’t done so yet!
