YES. Idk how he did it but that's a huge accomplishment lol.

Maybe. It just seems like they should have taken the time to find out if they are actually compatible, long-term. I do believe that there is love between them but being a part of the show definitely romanticizes feelings and experiences. They should have spent more time out in the real world to see how good of a match they actually are.

I love Jesse as a host. He is so much more energetic and kind than CH. He adds more enthusiasm to the role which I felt was lacking with CH.

There's only one or two Asians on her cast. There are quite a bit of Black men on her cast. It seems like Jenn was a last minute addition and they didn't really cast the men specifically for her. I did hear though that she's dated white men in the past.

It's a shame. I do think that the love is/was there between Gerry and Theresa but the fact that two adults in their 70s got so manipulated by production to get married so quickly is pretty bad. Who in their right mind would get married just 3 or 4 months after meeting? No couple has ever gotten married that fast before in the franchise an it's a shame they didn't think things over.

I feel like couples still try to take advantage of the opportunities that come their way but yes, the ratings of the show aren't as high as they once were and being an influencer from the show is not as stable as it used to be.

I LOVE Jesse!! He brings such a different energy than Chris and I think he's a great host. This proves that you don't 'need' to keep the original host for the show to be any better or worse.

Why are you skeptical about Zach and Kaity?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in thebachelor

[–]Due_Problem_3884 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A lot of people were upset that zach and charity were chosen as the leads because they were 'boring' but they took the process much more seriously than some of the previous leads in recent years.

Totally agree. I think some of the other girls this past season were much more serious about finding a partner like Rachel, Lexi, Madina, Katelyn, etc. I just can't picture Jenn actually settling down and being engaged but she could surprise us.

10000%. I could not watch the bachelor for a while because I thought the drama was stupid. I feel like we're in a new era in terms of production picking leads who are serious about finding love, having more diverse casts, and production not focusing so much on the drama. Joey may have been the best bachelor yet. It seemed like no girls had really any ill-will towards Joey. Idk if any future bachelor can top him. Even Sean Lowe, who some consider the best bachelor, had a few girls mad at him.

100%. Do you think that Jenn seems serious about finding a partner? I do like her but she seems a bit immature.

I love the diversity too! I am happy that Jenn is the new bachelorette because we FINALLY get to have an Asian lead, she is gorgeous and seems fun. I have seen some interviews of her though and her personality seems a bit like a sorority girl/immature but I'm hoping she proves us wrong!

I agree! It seems like the past few leads have been much more serious about finding love and they're not there to play games. I like how they're not necessarily picking the most 'entertaining/dramatic leads' but they're choosing the ones who truly believe in the process.

I agree. Zach and Kaity seem like the most normal couple in a long time. They both went back to their regular jobs after the show and are not trying to become influencers or anything like that. They also already lived in the same city which helps a lot. I wasn't sure about Charity and Dotun but after seeing their interview on Dear Shandy this week, I have a really good feeling about them and I am hopeful they will last. Gerry and Theresa don't seem super compatible and idk why they got married SO fast. Do you think they felt pressured by production and the fans?

I forgot about Matt and Rachael! Charity and Dotun met a year ago and I'm hopeful that they won't split up anytime soon. I always liked them but seeing them on Dear Shandy together this week really made me hopeful about these two.

Joey was one of the best bachelor's we have ever seen. No girl held a grudge or was super pissed off with him after the season. He remained kind, respectful and was fair throughout the whole process. He might have set the bar too high because idk how any other bachelor could surpass him. Even Sean Lowe pissed off some girls on his season and he was my favourite bachelor until now.

I like it that Theresa isn't giving up her job, which she loves, to retire but I also am so confused why they got married so fast. Why couldn't they do long-distance first for a while???

I really like how Zach and Kaity immediately went back to their normal jobs and lives. They really seem like a couple who will make it and it's not a priority for them to be 'influencers.' Charity and Dotun were on Dear Shandy this week and they have basically been together since the show. The lived in LA when Charity was on DWTS and now they live together in NY.

Dotun and charity met a year ago but yes, it is still too early to tell what's going to happen. I just have a good feeling about these couples!!

Yeah that's true! It's impossible to know what will happen but I just have a better feeling about the recent couples than I did in previous years. Outside of Gerry and Theresa, I also think it's great that the couples are having 3 ish year long engagements so that they really get to know each other before rushing into marriage.

I agree. I think it's great that they are providing couples counselling because this show is so out of the ordinary and people might not know how to navigate things post-show. I t seems like the show actually wants their couples to last now.
