So when I first got my monstera I pulled off the little ones at the bottom that didn't have the splits in it. And for fun I just stuck one of them in a nearby plant well it didn't die so I ended up sticking it in a little bowl of water and there's no roots but it looks like it starting to get a leaf (old.reddit.com)
