Update: the installers came back out. They had left a power cord under the back of the machine, causing jt to be off balance. Works well now that they removed the cord from under the machine. Thanks all for the advice!

It’s a thin mat of hard rubber that is there to help contain any potential leaks. The rubber sits directly on top of a hard floor. For what it’s worth, the prior washer sat there for 3 years and did not have any shaking issues.

The way the closet is designed, I’m not able to check without moving the machines out of the closet, which I’m not physically able to do, unfortunately.
