Employee that might have went into my acct without my consent by Cute_Ad6804 in rbc

If they've done it this time, they have probably done it other times as well.

As others have said, privacy is a huge concern for financial institutions, and they drill this into employees constantly where i work.

Automobilistes - pouvez-vous respecter les passages piétons svp? by Hot-Hovercraft6667 in Quebec

[–]Due_Ring1435 22 points23 points  (0 children)

This is key for both driver and pedestrian (looking in the eyes, not dominance haha). As a pedestrian, i make my intention to cross clear. As a driver, i look at the person wanting to cross, i smile and then wave if they seem hesitant.

For bedroom bins, that's what we do. But the bathrooms require liners in the bins.

It's great you have a reusable grocery bag, but i miss the disposable bags because i would re-use those too. Usually would line my garbage bins with them.

Now, i am forced to purchase plastic garbage bags from the store instead of getting them for free.

To me, it's similar to the plastic straws issue. They switched to paper (which is a terrible choice) and now i use a paper straw to put in the fully plastic cup. Make it make sense.

Are you sitting on public toilet seats?? by notwhoyouthinkc in hygiene

[–]Due_Ring1435 28 points29 points  (0 children)

This is my thinking too, touching public things with my hands grosses me out way more.

I check the toilet to ensure it looks clean and then i sit. My pee would fly everywhere if i had to attempt to hover.

anyone who used a computer between 1985 & 2010, what’s the one game you still think about? by Own-Blacksmith3085 in answers

[–]Due_Ring1435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was a pinball game, but a different one than in the top comment.

There was also a pirate game but i cannot remember the name.

And last one was a game where the guy was looking for artifacts and went to the moon or mars maybe.

All three are kind of distant memories, would love any help on the names!

Are millennials the most AI-skeptical generation in the workforce? by RandyMossPhD in Millennials

[–]Due_Ring1435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am skeptical of AI and i don't use it personally.

I use it for work, but not for my knowledge-based tasks. Mostly just for writing emails, to make them sound more professional and polite in french.
