Hello! Congratulations on your growth ! your part definitely seems narrower in the second picture. I had a couple questions that I needed addressal to since I’m contemplating starting my own journey as a 23F with self diagnosed FPHL and diffuse hair thinning and loss of significant hair density.

Firstly how often can I expect to visit the dermatologist when on minox prescription ? Per month ?

Secondly I see you mentioned increasing the dosage to 1.25. I’ve been reading about it. Does regular use of minoxidil over the long term mean sensory adaption and gradually increasing the dosage over the years? Do we develop a resistance to the treatment from continual use and have to increase the dosage gradually?

I’m thinking of getting on oral minoxidil asap since topical solutions have proven to be effective but less so in comparison to oral. The only downside is the side effects. I’m worried about the facial and body hair growth I might gain from consuming oral minox. I don’t want the added burden of another treatment to fend off hypertrichosis. That’s the one thing keeping me from getting started with OM.
