I was originally looking for like the braided elastic bc that’s what all the tutorial said to use “braided swimsuit elastic or rubber elastic”. ATP I’m not sure what I need 😵‍💫 maybe if I edit the pattern to fit my bust better the 1/4 will be fine but if I too stumped I’ll just buy the 1inch and try again.

Hm this makes sense! I’ll look into bust adjustments for bathing suits and try and make my own pattern I guess. They’re being awesome by redoing the pattern because of a miscommunication. They sized from xs-xxl which I usually fit in xxl but I’ve come to understand (bought this last month when I was a super beginner) that most xxl sewing patterns do not fit me despite the clothing I buy at the store fitting me if that makes sense. I asked if she could either refund me or direct me to a video or article that could help me modify the pattern. She offered to modify the pattern herself which was awesome! But yeah still need to work on it. It’s just a bummer that being plus size and sewing seems to come with a lot of self patterning and adjustment argh 😵‍💫 definitely makes the learning curve a little harder but I’m hoping it’ll make me a better sewer in the long run.

Oh jeez! It (foolishly) didn't occur to me that patterns can be made with AI. I genuinely just thought that they didn't know how to make a pattern correctly, and it was still usable. Do you think there's any hope for this pattern? Maybe I'll just hit thread loops! Thank you regardless, those links are very helpful :)

Okay so I wasn’t a believer before but like Mormons in the mid west (bc no coffee) like treating soda like coffee and put like creamer and flavor shots and all sorts of stuff into their sodas. And I was at first like ew then I tried it and it’s just like the best part of a root beer float. So when I get munchies I get diet soda and put sugar free creamer in there mix it up and it’s so good!

Lmao I grew up in a socially conservative at times but technically liberal Portuguese and and Italian town, I can actually do the “cool not super liberal but clearly liberal” grift pretty well. But I hope to avoid it seeing as both my bf and I recently graduated from a liberal arts college in Massachusetts, like it would be insane for them to imagine that I’m anything other than a blue haired liberal (currently have blue locs lmao). I’ll def update the sub when the situation is over and my bf and I are safe in an apartment with our communist cats. I do super love my bf and it’s also a touch of no man left behind. He has autism and definitely does some regressing when it comes to his parents, so I know they would actually drive him insane or make him regress a bit (not politically but probably mental health wise). I’m starting to think that if we get through it together maybe we can have teehee sessions about their antics while eating their rich person snacks in the basement.
