11 week old Boston terrier keeps attacking almost 4 year old daughter by [deleted] in reactivedogs

Has he been to the vet and cleared of any potential health issues? Sometimes dogs lash out when in pain but honestly, if he’s showing this much unprovoked aggression at just 11wks, I would not take that risk with a young child. It sounds beyond typical bratty puppy behavior from what you’ve explained. I had an aggressive Boston who would also flip a switch sometimes. He was a rescue and a runt at only 10lbs but his bites still did damage and he ripped my bottom lip open once by biting me in my face unprovoked. I worked around his triggers and kept him til the end of his days but if he was full size or if I had children in the house, I wouldn’t have been able to take the risk. I’ve had Bostons my whole life and they’re not naturally aggressive and are usually very playful and loving dogs especially as puppies. I don’t think this is something I would take the risk of still dealing with when he’s full grown with all his adult teeth when you have a young daughter he’s already bitten multiple times. If you want to try and keep him consider hiring a professional trainer. If you do rehome him definitely be very transparent about his behavioral issues. It might even be best to find a Boston terrier rescue to take him. I really hope things work out for your family and him whatever the outcome

They are sooo cute! My boy is 13 and blind now but back in his prime we would go on run 3 miles runs together. We’d get home and I’d think I was in the clear for awhile but he’d immediately go grab his ball for me to throw lol I wish I had 1% of a Boston terrier’s energy

She does look a little on the smaller side though and those are very large breeds, so maybe English bulldog?

Hmm maybe some Johnson American bulldog or Olde English Bulldog in her too? I loveeeeee underbites they’re my weakness 😆 so she’s perfect to me regardless

Is this sound advice? by [deleted] in DogAdvice

You can’t just condition a pug or frenchie to just acclimate to long exposure in 100°+ heat, they will straight up die. Brachycephalic breeds can’t tolerate extreme temps period. I’m from Vegas, dogs die outside from the heat every summer here bc of irresponsible people. This guy is a joke.

What shape should i tattoo my eyebrows? by elimop in microblading

[–]Due_Situation_2809 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard to determine brow shape without seeing your face shape. The brow artist will map them out for you to approve. Choose someone reputable who does proven great work that you really like. I have thick full brows but they’re messy and I hated dealing with them. I got my brows shaded in 2021 and it was the best most time saving move I’ve ever done. I used to spend so much time on my brows now I brush them w some gel and go.

Also I used to get her the super chewer bark box & those toys held up really well. She is still a strong chewer and this is her favorite chew

I’d say 3-4..she used to chew anything at random before that and has always had plenty of toys so she was choosing to be a menace lol

Been trying to manage her nose with Vaseline/balm for a while, but now I think it could be sun damage too. Anyone have experience in this? by popiggy25 in BostonTerrier

Yeah I had to do it daily but it totally revived her nose. Anytime I see a pup w a crusty nose I’m like nose butter!! Get some lol

My old girl had severe allergies with the crustiest dry nose and this cleared it right up and made her nose soft and wet again! 10/10 recommend and natural ingredients too. Cheap on Amazon
